There is something about these two polishes that just make sense together. I previously used them together in my Sun and Moon manicure, and Saturated was reviewed on its own. Today I'll be introducing a new type of blog post - Pair Together - where I will pull two polishes from my collection that complement each other and show a few different manicures that could be done using these two polishes. The ideas can all be found under the jump. I admit I will cheat a little in this post and will not only use China Glaze For Audrey and Orly Saturated - occasionally I will highlight glitters that work as accents.
The first idea for using these two polishes is obviously my Sun and Moon manicure, which is linked in the paragraph above this. Since there is an entire post dedicated to this manicure, I'm not going to go into detail about how I did it.
The next manicure is very simple. Simply put two coats of For Audrey on your index, middle, and pinky fingers, then put two coats of Saturated on your thumb and ring finger. Finish up with the top coat of your choice.
You can also spice up the previous manicure by adding some glitter. I added one coat of Maybelline Color Show Platinum Adorn over my ring finger, though you could use any glitter over it. I have used O.P.I Bearest of them All when wearing this manicure before and it looked great. To finish this manicure, use your choice of top coat.
Finally, we have the most complex of the manicures. Well, complex to me, because I don't really do nail art. Start with two coats of For Audrey on all fingers except your ring finger. On your ring finger put two coats of Saturated. Then, using the dotting tool of your choice (I used a bobby pin for this swatch) add dots of For Audrey over Saturated and vice versa. Be careful when putting top coat on this - you may be able to tell from the picture that I drug some of the dots' color when I applied my top coat.
