Orly - Saturated

This polish was shown a week ago in my Sun and Moon manicure, and is one of my personal favorite polishes. Saturated was part of Orly's Summer 2014 collection, Baked. It took me a few tries to get an accurate bottle shot of this polish. The image above was taken in direct sunlight, and it still isn't quite right. Additional bottle shots, along with my review and swatches are under the jump.

Saturated is described on Orly's website as a "dark purple crème" and I can't argue with that description. It's a lovely color, and very deep. The first coat goes on a little patchy, but the second coat is completely opaque. It dries to a satin finish akin to a neon. Since this came from a summer collection, I find the finish appropriate. The finish also allows for quick drying between coats. This polish probably could be fine without a top coat, but I still recommend one. Swatches are shown below with and without top coat.

Overall, I give this polish a full 5 stars. The color is gorgeous, the formula is wonderful, and the dry time is fantastic. If I could have only one purple in my collection, this would definitely be a top contender for that role.
