Welcome to Throwback Thursday! This time we have a manicure I did for fun back in January. This manicure is, in my opinion, a very classy and elegant one. The purple and gold evoke thoughts of royalty in my mind, which gives this manicure the very imaginative name of Royalty. Details on how to do this manicure are under the jump.
I am the first to admit that I am quite terrible at nail art if it is harder than dotting. This design is very simple, and if you have an unsteady hand, you can easily use tape for a straight line instead of attempting it freehand. The polishes I used in this manicure were wet n wild Megalast Disturbia and SinfulColors Gold Medal.
Start off this manicure by putting two to three coats of Disturbia on every finger. Once it is completely dry, tape off the bottom half of your ring finger as shown in the pictures below. Put Gold Medal on the uncovered half of your ring finger, and peel off the tape. Finish off the manicure with the top coat of your choice. If your nails look a little messy, clean up any extra polish with a cotton swab soaked in nail polish remover. The end result is a simple but beautiful manicure.
